The fundamental parameters in photonics experiments are optical power, and time- and frequency-domain content. These experiments require accurate measurements of the peak or average power, the power in spectral components, power stability and fluctuations, relative power, and high-speed resolution of modulation or pulses. We specialize in solutions for laboratory and OEM applications.

We offer a COMPREHENSIVE SELECTION OF SINGLE AND DUAL ELEMENT PHOTODETECTORS IN VARIOUS FORMATS operating across broad spectral range coverage of 2600 – 190 nm with high responsivity, and speeds extending across several GHz / ps.

The ultrafast photodetectors in our product line are packed with unique features and superb performance. They are available as miniature modules, multi-channel optical power meter systems, and bare OEM-format photodetectors and fiber coupled receptacle photodiodes for inclusion into advanced integrated optical systems. Single-element high-speed photodetectors are packaged as passive or amplified ( standard, AC+DC coupled, precision PMT / APD replacement ) units, in free-space or fiber-coupled (FC, SMA, & ST) formats. Dual-balanced photodetector modules have passive or amplified individual elements, and passive or amplified relative-signal processing. Single-element and dual-balanced modules are also available with logarithmic compression amplifiers for wide dynamic range applications. Special function dual photodetector modules are available for electronic computation of multiplication, division, root-mean-square averaging, and equalized amplification of optical signals. We have an extensive line of Si and InGaAs avalanche photodetectors (APD), and high sensitivity (high gain), wide bandwidth PIN photodetectors for usage in the IR-Vis-UV and NIR spectra. 16-Channel amplified photodetector arrays are available for the IR-Vis-UV spectrum. Amplified Si and InGaAs high-speed GHz photodetectors are offered in integrated compact modules. OEM sub-components such as photodiode amplifiers with solder or SMA-connector (photodiode) terminations, 10-Gbps microwave bias-T networks, and micro-miniature AC- and DC-coupled photodiodes in SMA packages are available. All OEM photodetectors and amplifiers may be purchased as matched pairs, or as multi-dimensional arrays. Accessories such as fixed and adjustable regulated power supplies, connectors, adapters, and cables are provided to complement the photodetector product line, and facilitate ease of integration.
